Heritage source: The yaktak is a light summer gown without lining, seen as early as the early medieval murals of Balalyktepa; by the late 19th century wrap-over yaktak shirts were popular with young and old. Tashkent women of that time wore a dress, wide trousers, a mursak or ton, and makhsi with galoshes.
